try rubbing alcohol...hope its an old tv.

Nope, new TV. Sigh! The good news is we only use the TV for camping or watching football on the patio or poolside. I will let you know if it works. -Kel

Alcohol helped a little (made it lighter), so did nail polish remover. I'll keep working at it. Thx. -kel
