Every year the sixth graders get to participate in a Chariot race. The students wishing to participate have to build their own chariot and pick their rider & runners. The course has bumps, sharp turns and hills so the chariot has to be sturdy (several fell apart during the race). Ricky (wearing the helmet) and two of his friends built this chariot with very little help. They did a great job! They won their first race but came in second in the semi finals. They had a blast! Ricky actually flew in the air on the first bump. When it was over they took Matt for a short ride.
